Lightning and Transient Protected Designs and Installations
EMC Consulting Inc. has provided lightning and transient protection on deployable aircraft black boxes, spacecraft and avionic equipment. One design was for a high reliability digital or analogue signal interface circuit, designed by EMC Consulting Inc., and manufactured in an ISO9000 certified manufacturing facility. The output signal quality is maintained during application of a second LF signal, 170V DC and the output will withstand without damage the DO-160C indirect lightning test levels.
We have designed lightning protection and grounding schemes for cellular base stations, satellite ground and FM wireless installations.
